Today I spent half an hour or so in the studio trying to play about with over exposed backgrounds with a high contrast model. I'm not 100% sure I like how this looks, but it was worth trying out anyway! The white background images had two reflector flashes with barn doors set to 2 stops above the exposure of the subject (in this case, Cammy!), and I used a single snoot flash with honeycomb for the lighting on the face. For the black background, I just changed the flash trigger to set off only the light that was on Cammy.
